Pretty apartment in Sweden

Every now and then I really enjoy browsing through Scandinavian real estate agencies to see how the spaces are styled for sale. I think one of my favorite is Swedish Avhem Makleri, where I frequently find myself looking not for a property to buy (at least not yet!) but for an interior inspiration. I'm sure you have also noticed many gorgeous apartments featured and pinned from Alvhem. That's because their photographer Fredrik Karlsson and stylists do an excellent job, enhancing the spaces to look like from interior magazine covers! Seriously sometimes it gets this good.

Today I really like the 58-square meters apartment located in the city centre of Gothenburg. Lovely spacious living room, with light gray walls, painted white floors and pops of pink creates a very girly and welcoming space, whereas brick walls add character and warmth. I really like the mix of budget-friendly Ikea furniture with some flea market finds here, don't you? 

At this point I already know I would like to live in this apartment just by looking at the photos. Brilliant sales technique but so far I noticed it is so well developed only in Scandinavia.

Pretty Melbourne home

 

Guys, guys, guys, you need to see this home! I'm so in love with it and even though I have already seen it couple of times around the web and I've tried hard hard not to repost it - I failed! But since this failing makes me happy there is nothing wrong with it, right? 

This gorgeous space, located in Melbourne belongs to props buyer and stylist Marni Kornhauser and her house mate Kathrine Laurie. Full of personal touch and class, beautifully photographed by Eve Wilson, seems to be a very young, fresh and welcoming space which is perfect for me.

Lovely, isn't it? My favorite spot is the kitchen area and the pink wall art decorating it. What about you?

Colorful home of Miranda Skoczek

So our wonderful, long weekend is coming to an end but just before it does let's talk about something beautiful. If you follow me on Pinterest you probably noticed that I have a little obsession with Miranda Skoczek's art. Ok you caught me, it's not that little. I have always admired her vivid paintings and incredible way to use colors and it definitely is the type of art I would love to have in my home. What I find most engaging about her work is the fantasy image created with graphic elements inspired by nature, modernist design, architecture and abstract splash of color. I think I'm not going to lie if I say that I have never been so inspired by art before! 

The color and positive vibe is just as much present in Miranda's beautiful home, as in her work. I've paired up photos of her Melbourne apartment with her art work so you can see how she brings color into her home, and how stylish it is!

 It's my little dream to own one of her artwork. Maybe one day it will come true :) So how do you like the style of Miranda? Do you have any other favorite Artists?

White and fresh Attic

I'm in love with this space! Usually I tend to *love* colorful spaces which are kind of funky but this time I am madly inspired by the simplicity and freshness of this white loft, located in Malmo. What I really like here is the combination of whites with natural wood, botanical touch, mix of vintage and modern pieces and the little mirror gallery wall which instantly makes the room look bigger and lighter. It's a very beautiful space with such a peaceful and calm feeling that I could easily sink in and relax there...ahhh that would be a very nice start of the week, wouldn't it?

Inspiring garden office

Hello and happy new week my dear friends! Hope you had a great weekend. Today I came across this inspiring garden office and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to share it with you! Beautifully styled by one of my favorite Dutch freelance stylists Kim Timmerman, caught my attention due to the airy atmosphere and beautiful details. I really admire work of Kim, her great concept ideas and light, delicate taste. I could easily imagine myself making some pretty floral arrangement in this place (or at least trying!) Anyway, I don't have a garden but I want that garden office!

Stylish living room in Göteborg

Happy Monday! Isn't that an oxymoron? If it's not, then it definitely should be. How was your weekend? We've had a little house warming party with lots of tasty Italian food, double or even triple chocolate tart made by one of my friends (yummy!) and wine. Maybe also a little bit too much wine, which would explain all the craziness later on!

When you love interior design you seriously enjoy home tours of any kind, which is why I've joined a lot of foreign online agencies to keep an eye on what apartments are out there...You never know, what if I have to move to Sweden or Germany tomorrow? :) In my job, I've been given FIVE days to relocate to Berlin, so yes things like this really happen.   

Anyway, while browsing some nice places out there I came across this stylish living room. It caught my attention mainly due to the spacious feeling and awesome terrace area overlooking the city centre of Göteborg. Also the checkered carpet is a very nice addition here, don't you think?
