The colors of London

London colorful, cool, funky place
Warning - the colors in this post are killers!
I'm back from my sunny, almost-no-rain trip to London which was nothing but awesome. This time I stayed for a whole week but regardless my non-touristic aim of the visit, I feel like I'd walked the entire London on my feet and saw it all once more. I just can't get enough of London! But. If you are waiting to see photos of Big Ben, red telephone boots or Piccadilly, I will disappoint you, as this time my camera was focused on colors. Vivid, happy colors of London and it's funky places worth visiting if you are looking for something alternative to see. I decided to split my London trip into three photo-parts featuring - The colors of London, Clerkenwell Design week 2014 and the shopping part (of course). So there are two more posts to come. I stayed with my best friends so apart from being serious camera abuser, there was a lot of catching up, laughing, loving and partying involved. It was all crazy fun... and I miss it already!

London colorful places to visit

Each time I'm in London I visit the Covent garden market (and Portobello market and Borough market) - there is just so much to see and taste in these places.

The colorful place above is a courtyard, located just a few minutes walk from Covent garden.
If you love colors it's a must-see! You can also have a drink or food there if you wish to.

what to see, colors alternative tour

Isn't this window decorated for the Chelsea flower show gorgeous?
Oh and there's the London Eye. I said, no Big Ben, not London Eye! :)

Once again Neal's Yard above and China town below.

That's it for now. Hope you enjoyed this colorful moment! :) I will be also sharing with you photos from Clarkenwell design week and little design/decor shopping guide very soon.

What are your favorite places in London?

  1. Love that you've chosen such colorful views through the lens of your camera. As many times as I've visited London I never came back home with so many vivid photos. Note to self: Next time think "rainbow" when travelling to London. That being said, some of my favorite places in London are all the wonderful museums. Not fun for my feet, but a feast for the eyes (and mind).

    1. Hello Birgit, same here - usually my photos were dominated by the iconic spots and standard colors which is why I've decided to focus on different stuff this time :) I also love London museums (especially the V&A and Tate modern) but even without visiting them I ended up with feet pain! But I can't complain as It was totally worth it! :) Thanks for visiting xo

  2. Wow, what a color power Aga! I was expecting to see unique London (no Big Ben and telephone boots ;)) through the lens of your camera but these colors really killed me (in a good way!). I love the intensity and young vibe here and thanks for showing me the side of London I had never seen. Have a nice evening xo

  3. Zaskakująco ciekawe połączenia kolorystyczne, świetny pomysł z pokazaniem Londynu od innej strony. Piękne zdjęcia, czekam na kolejne części relacji. Ja byłam w Londynie 12 lat temu, najbardziej podobało mi się Science Museum i Hyde Park :). Marzę, żeby tam wrócić.
