Cozy garden ideas

ikea, romantic, accessories, summer, relax

One of the reasons why we all love summer is because it is a perfect time to enjoy the sunny outdoors, relax and spend some time with friends and family.
For me, the romantic spot under the tree, where you can enjoy a good book is exactly where I would like to spend, a warm afternoon.

ikea, lamps, garden dinner

To create cozy feel around your garden table, try adding few accessories for example - lace fabric tablecloth on the table, painted chairs or hanging lamps that will look charming both during the day and night.

Flowers in the vases and delicious treats are always a great table decoration.

Great decorating doesn't have to cost a fortune. Behind the table, you can put an extra wooden rack box, as a storage which will also act as a decoration, showing your favorite glasses, napkins or lanterns.

Hope you enjoyed this sunny moment!

The lamp that caught my attention the most is the industrial plumber lamp - have you ever seen anything similar? Where would you put it? Bathroom? Living room?

Seaside inspired table setting

Ciao everyone!
Hope you are enjoying your summer vacations. We are having amazing time here in Italy, exploring interesting places and being inspired by the beautiful things we see.
Today I want to share with you Italian, seaside inspired table setting which would be an ideal decoration for a summer, seafood dinner.

The main theme combines marine colors and a few characteristic accessories which are very easy to do-it yourself.

Lighthouse vase:  Wicker flower vase with red painted stripes on it, looks great placed in the center of the table.

Message in a bottle: Labels with guest names attached to the empty bottles make a unique seaside decoration. The red ribbon and light-blue napkin go perfect with the setting.

Seaside mini flag: Striped red and white material tied around the wine glass.

Wooden Boat: Decoration made from wooden sticks, string and a piece of fabric fits perfectly the theme.

Last but not least decoration - tea lights placed on the wooden board - nothing gives as much atmosphere as the warm light of a candle!

Do you like this idea? Would you add something?
Buon appetito!

White summer house in Ponza, Italy

Hello everyone! Hope you are well!
First of all big apologies for the little break I've had from blogging but life has been a little crazy for us recently.
As I mentioned before, I will be now posting from beautiful Italy :)
We moved here for a little while, which is one of the reasons, I wasn't able to keep you updated as frequently as before. Another reason is renovation going on back at home and....some more exciting news to be revealed soon!
For now - we are living 'la bella vita' here, in Italy, what means a lot of beautiful Italian interiors and inspirations to come!
Are you ready? :)

Vintage wall clock transformed into a coffee table top - what a great idea! I love re-purposing things and I guess it's time for a trip to the flea market! ;)

I also love the idea of window between the rooms - it looks great and lets more light in to the rooms.

Cupcake stand made from old plates, candle holders and a bit of glue looks super cute with the yummy raspberry cupcakes.

Project renovation - Mint kitchen ideas

mint and pastel kitchen ideas

Source: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Hello everyone! Hope you are well :)
As I mentioned in the previous 'project renovation post' - the time has come to make some changes in the apartment. I collected those kitchen pictures to put together the main ideas I'm having right now (I'm saying right now, because it can still change! Well...you know how it is... ;)

white and green kitchen

I have always liked rather traditional kitchens so the plan is to get white, simple cabinets warmed up with wooden counter-tops. I'm most likely going to go with ikea cabinets. Here is my little secret - I'm a fan of Ikea deeply inside :P And the thing is - not only because Ikea is affordable, I DO actually like their designs! Who is with me? Anyone? :P
So I'm considering STAT or FAKTUM series... they are both simple and nice.

traditional

wooden worktops

The color of the walls will be light mint... what paint? what shade? Good question! But I still don't have the answer... So far I got tones of color schemes, catalogs and I'm trying to choose the 'perfect shade' from all those pretty options.

blue and greenMint

I've never thought choosing a tap can be meaningful until i saw this one!
Yep I truly like it :)

Tiles or no tiles? I still need to choose the color between the cabinets.
I'm considering white or mint. In fact I like both options and both will suit the main design.
white or mint
What do you think about the combination of white&mint colors with wooden floor or wood like tiles? I have to say I love it!

mint

And that point brings me to the kitchen decorations! Which I think will be the most fun part. Can't wait to place all the little pastel accessories there!

mint detailspink coffe machine

The pink coffee machine by Ascaso, I have seen for the first time on one of my favorite blogs - Sukkertoy for oyet, in Ida's pretty kitchen. Since then I can't wait to get my own! :D
It is so pretty!

Still a lot of things to consider and a lot of decisions to make but I'm getting there!
Check out more kitchen ideas on my Pinterest board.

LITTLE UPDATE: here you can see my kitchen AFTER renovation.

Thanks for reading!
Lots of love x
